A teacher’s contract was not renewed
The teacher claimed this decision was based on two main factors:
~His identity as a homosexual
~His relationship with an African-American man (Glover was a white man)
The teacher also claimed that the non-renewal was a result to retaliation against him for speaking out against the administration, saying it violated his free speech rights given by the 1st Amendment
